The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board is functioning in the Tamil Nadu Police department for the recruitment of the people for police, prison & fire service. The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board was made as per G.O.Ms.No. 1806, 29-11-1991. The board is headed by the Chairman, an officer in the rank of Director General of Police. Additionally, the board is responsible for recruiting the people for only uniformed departments, not for other departments.
Both men & women can be recruited in the boarding process. The board has set eligibility criteria for recruiting the people. Moreover, for recruitment, the candidates should have passed 10th class & must have completed 18 years of age.
