The Government of Kerala has launched an insurance scheme that covers all serving employees of the state government. The scheme also covers the High Court of Kerala which is covered under the existing Kerala Government Servants Medical Attendant Rules [KGSMA Rules, 1960] and pensioners. Additionally, this also covers newly appointed employees & their families.

In this scheme, all general & speciality hospitals are invited to the empanelment process and can enrol as service providers for the MEDISEP scheme. The scheme will provide cashless medical assistance with a 3lakhs per year coverage.  The annual premium would be Rs 4,800 plus 18 per cent GST for the policy period of 2022-24

In this scheme, the employees will have to pay the premium of Rs 500/-. Every month. The premium will get deducted every month from their salary.
