The Anant Chaturdashi is celebrated every year. This year also the Anant Chaturdashi will be celebrated on 28th September 2023. It is a festival for a total of 14 days. On particular days it has some muhrats. The First will be 28.09.2023 the Chaturdashi Tithi will start at 11:00 pm. It will continue till the next days which is 09.09.2023 at 06:10 pm.

Process of Anant Chaturdashi Vidhi 2023

At first, the people have to take the bath and have to wear clean clothes. Then people have to do the preparation for the puja. In front of Lord Vishnu, you have to put a Kalash. You have to tie a knotted thread in kumkum, saffron, and turmeric and tie 14 knots. Then tie the infinite thread on the arm. People have to feed the Brahms and take a prasad after the opening of the fast.

It is a story of Sushila and Kayndinya. As we see there was a stepmother who used to trouble the Sushila. After so much trouble Sushila has decided to leave the father’s house along with her husband named Kayndinya.

She moved to the forest, after a few times they both stopped to take a bath then Sushila finds a group of women who are doing the worship. The group of women was doing the worship of Load Anant and having the fast. Then Sushila the group of women about the Puja. One of the women elaborates on the rituals. She offered the gharha and anarase, oil lamps with flowers and incense sticks having the silk string

The Anant Chaturdashi has got prosperity in their life and Sushila followed all the pooja rituals with great prosperity and calm. The Sushila told the complete thing to his husband Kayndinya about the Anant Chaturdashi pooja and how they have got success and intelligence. He takes out the string of Sushila from her arm.

His mistake with Kayndinya leads to misery and poverty. Then Kayndinya realizes the mistake of what he has done in the past. After realizing the mistake Kayndinya went for Tapasya and asked for the Ananta string. He finds the various animals in the forest but he did not find the  Ananta string in any of them.

Then Kayndinya decided to hang himself and wanted to get died. But a brahmin stopped him and remove the string from his neck. The brahmin has taken the Kayndinya to his cave. As Kayndinya observes that the light is getting bigger and bigger. A man and woman welcomed the Kayndinya he got shocked that Lord Ananta himself welcomed the Kayndinya.

Suddenly Kayndinya found that there is no brahmin with him. He realizes that Lord Vishnu has saved him. He felt down and apologise for the mistake that he has done in the past.
