A new scheme is launched by the Indian Armed Forces, named ‘Agnipath Scheme’. As per the scheme launched by the Indian Armed Forces, the Agnipath is a new HR Management scheme.   • Agniveers will not be required to contribute to any Provident Fund of the Government
  • There shall be no entitlement to gratuity and any kind of pensionary benefits in the case of Agniveers.
  • Agniveers will get the life insurance cover of Rs. 48 lakhs for the duration of their engagement period as Agniveers in the IAF.
  • In case of death insurance & compensation will also be given.
