AFCAT Eligibility Criteria – AFCAT 1 2023 Notification Out

Education Qualification

• Ground Duty Technical Branch: Candidates are required to have pass mark sheets with a minimum of 50% marks each in physics and mathematics at 10+2 level and a four-year degree in graduation/integrated or post-graduation in the field of engineering and technology from a recognized university.
• Flying Branch: Candidates should have mandatorily passed with a minimum of
  50% marks each in Maths and Physics at 10+2 or. Graduation with a minimum three years degree course in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

Age Limit

• Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches: Minimum age of the applicants must be 20 years old and the maximum age should not exceed more than 26 years old.
• Flying Branch: Minimum age of the applicants must be 20 years old and the maximum age should not exceed more than 24 years old.

Application Fees

The Department is taking the application fees for AFCAT Examination. Candidates have to pay Rs 250/- which is nonrefundable. Once the application fee is deposited it will not be returned again.

Selection Criteria

The selection of the candidates will be based on the three following stages which are given below. We have mentioned the selection process according to the AFCAT 1 2023 Notification.

Pay Band

Selected candidates will be paid a nice amount of salary which is Rs. 56100/- to 177500/- respectively. The amount is based on the Pay on Commissioning (as per 7th CPC).
