Scientists have analyzed the DNA of immortal jellyfish to find the secret to eternal life

Unless you're a jellyfish, death is a universal fact of life.

As a new study explains, the jellyfish Turritopsis dohrnii is "the only species that can repeatedly rejuvenate after sexual reproduction and become biologically immortal."

His DNA may contain the answer to the secret of eternal life.

One study looked at DNA from T. dohrnii to another closely related jellyfish species that wasn't immortal to determine what was special.

Specifically, "Genes involved in aging and DNA repair and T. Dorni"

This knowledge does not make humans "biologically immortal" like his T. dohrnii.
